     Product Coach is a great resource for those who want to be successful with their product ideas.

     Product Coach, operated by Matthew Yubas and associates, provides Free Tips, BooksKits, and Services to help you be successful.

     Matthew Yubas is a Certified Professional Marketing Consultant for the Small Business Development and International Trade Center. He has developed products for 24 years as an Engineer, Product Manager, and Consultant for startups, small business, and Fortune 500 companies.

     He has launched new products such as software applications, wireless devices, and websites. In addition, he has helped clients in a diverse number of industries that include photography equipment, auto accessories, soy candles, children's clothing, sporting goods, digital art, and home décor.

     Matthew is the author of several articles, kits, and books including "Product Idea to Product Success" which has been used by inventors, entrepreneurs, colleges, government agencies, and sold into 14 countries.

     He has been featured on television and radio and has been tapped for his expertise in bringing products to market in many syndicated publications.

     As an young entrepreneur, he was a co-founder of a software company that developed one of the first personal information management software products. Matthew earned a B.S. in Engineering from Pennsylvania Spring Garden College in Philadelphia, and an M.B.A. In Management and Marketing from San Diego State University.


Corporate Work

Novatel Wireless
Senior Product Line Manager: Responsible for product line of wireless data modems and GPS in the Public Safety market. Successfully led the creation of the product roadmap, product requirements, marketing plans, launch plans, competitive analysis, positioning, forecasting, pricing, collateral content, and contract negotiations. Developed relationships with carriers (Verizon, AT&T) for compliance and field testing. Developed a successful partner program with distributors, resellers, and software vendors.

Centrax Corporation
Senior Product Manager: Responsible for product line of computer security software products. Managed all product management phases including requirements gathering, user interface, competitive analysis, pricing, positioning, rollout, beta testing, sales training, content for the web, collateral and press releases. Worked closely with IT customers, engineering, sales, marketing, public relations, tech support, and accounting. Negotiated with Microsoft which resulted in getting a software product licensed in their Windows NT Resource Kit.

Ageless Software Company

Product Manager: Responsible for a new case management software product that resulted in improved efficiency and cost savings for the customer. Managed all product phases including requirements gathering, competitive analysis, pricing, positioning, rollout, user interface, beta testing, sales training, and collateral. Managed the requirements process with focus groups, surveys, and benchmarking.

Unisys Corporation
Marketing Consultant: Performed a strategic analysis and assessment study which led to a new direction of the company’s ASIC product line. Conducted an industry analysis, segmentation analysis, customer surveys, internal analysis, and provided strategic recommendations.

Health Examinetics Incorporated
Developer: Responsible for guiding the software development, testing and maintenance of a PC based software application used by the company's large scale mobile health testing service. Managed development and distribution which resulted in improved software quality, reduced development time, and improved distribution to field sites. Developed requirements from marketing, sales, field operations, and industry standards.

National Pen Corporation
Developer: Led the design and development of electronic controls which increased the company’s manufacturing process efficiency by 30%. Researched emerging technologies to implement in future production processes. Responsible for technical advising to the company president.

SAIC
Staff Scientist: Designed and developed software modeling tools to simulate and analyze star wars scenarios. Implemented software quality program to improve software integrity for a $1 million defense contract. Held a Secret clearance.

Penn Podiatry Corporation
Developer: Designed and developed network-based medical practice management software products. Improved billing and claims processing productivity by up to 50% and increased revenue collection by 20%. Developed requirements and specifications from doctors, nurses, and healthcare standards.

Sperry Corporation

Test Engineer: Designed and developed software testing tools for new mainframe computers, which uncovered defects and improved product quality.
